On Wednesday, the USHL released the rosters for their USHL/NHL Top Prospects Game, and four MAP alumni are among the 40 players who will take part in the showcase game. From the release:
"It is the second season for the event which will showcase many of the top players in the USHL who are eligible for the 2013 NHL Draft. A total of 27 players selected are in their first year of eligibility for the NHL Draft.
The selection process was completed in cooperation with USHL General Managers, NHL scouts and team personnel, and NHL Central Scouting."
Former MAP Hockey players who will play in the game are:
Jordan Gross, D, Green Bay Gamblers (Maple Grove, MN): Gross owns 14 assists through 26 games, which ranks seventh among all USHL defensemen.
Michael Brodzinski, D, Muskegon Lumberjacks (Ham Lake, MN): Brodzinski leads all USHL defensemen with nine goals and is tied for third in points (18).
Justin Kloos, F, Waterloo Blackhawks (Lakeville, MN): Kloos is near the top of the USHL leaderboards in assists (31) and total points (44).
Charlie Lindgren, G, Sioux Falls Stampede (Lakeville, MN): Lindgren owns 15 wins and a 2.57 GAA over 20 starts (22 games) this season.
