My son Alex was in your winter Camp for D.  He just finished the season in Grand Rapids, MI and since coming back, he was the most improved and in the last 5 weeks, he was the best player on the team.  Whatever you guys taught, it was just what he needed.  He had 2 goals, 1 assist, 9 hits,  caused countless turnovers, and was a +6  in his last game and everyone was simply amazed by his acceleration this season.  Before the camp he was a -11 and since returning he is a +22....he finished the year at +12 which was awesome on a team that scored VERY few goals.  He is 2-3 years younger than all of his teammates and just flew by.  He took everything he learned at your camp and applied it to his daily workouts.  Thanks for having that camp and we look forward to moving back to MN and your organization coaching the boys.

I just wanted to shoot you an email and thank you for advising Ian to reach out to Chuck.

I also wanted to thank you for the very strong reference that I understand you provided on Ian’s behalf. Thank you very much.

Ian and Chuck (and Chuck’s one assistance) have been corresponding for the last couple of weeks and I spent about 40 minutes on the phone with Chuck yesterday (he initiated the contact) talking about various options for Ian. 

This all became possible because of you. Thanks you!

Don’t know at this point whether Ian will be invited to this year’s camp, but, Chuck did tell me that he will be proving Ian strong consideration. (He has asked that I get him a game tape of Ian, so, I am trying to figure out how best to do so, especially with only three games left in the season.)

Regardless of the outcome for this year, this is all good stuff and moving in the right direction.

Please let me know if there is anything that comes to mind that Ian needs to be doing. Otherwise, we will keep you posted on any developments with regards to Chuck’s camp.

I know Eli has had a chance to reach out to you and I wanted to also reach out to you.  Simply put "Thanks!".  Thanks for creating the program you have.  Thanks for providing an opportunity to develop our boy into what he is today.  Thanks for continuing to invest your valuable time in him.  We are extremely grateful and realize that we are ... rather that Eli is very fortunate to be a part of your program and family.  We truly feel that Eli's development not only as a hockey player but as a human being has been positively impacted by both of you and Erik.

We realize that the journey is not over and Eli knows he still has a long journey in front of him.  We feel confident that he has the best support network he can have available to him.  Thanks for being there and continuing to help him realize whatever his potential may be.

Josh, Thanks for your interest in the MAP students.  Just your email was worth the price of MAP, in that it was another voice focusing Paul on his academics.  While he would love to continue playing hockey, his schooling will be the key to the rest of his life.

Once again thank you for all the work you and the staff at the north campus have done with Devin Zaloski this year. He has improved more this summer than from any other program he has attended. Devin likes the on ice sessions, and he really likes the EVO. It is refreshing to have a program that treats the players like young men, and not children...

After much descussion, he decided to give up his second year of Peewee hockey to play Bantam instead.... After playing just one year of Peewee, he needed to step up to play Bantam, and i credit the MAP Tier 1 program for pushing him to reach his potential.

Devin lookd forward to training at FHIT this winter, and at MAP in 2012.

Thanks for inviting Matt out to the game against the Blades the other night.  He'll be there today for the Combine.  Just an FYI, I think you know he's on the Elite Prep Team NW.  I think part of him making the team was what you guys do there at Fhit.  So thanks for all you do to help him reach his goals.
 
I remember when we signed up and Bergie asked him if he wanted to be a Dr.? Matt's response was "what a Doctor"......?  Bergie said you have to put in a lot of work to become a Dr. of Hockey.  Be here 4 days a week, work hard, measure your results, etc.   He enjoys working out there and getting better.  He was especially happy with his off ice measurements 6 months later. He's the leading scorer for the Elite Prep League. I know he feels what he does there has made him stronger and faster.

A quick note to let you know that Cory Lushanko qualified for the State Track and Field meet at Hamline University on June 10th & 11th in the 100m and 200m dash.  He set a school record in the 100m dash with a time of 11.03.  Cory has given a lot of credit to the MAP program with all the EVO he has done there and at home with his brothers and sister.

The couple of people that have been negative about the program are the same parents/players that are blaming everybody else for being demoted to either 3rd or 4th line this year.  If the player is not willing to work hard and the parents are not willing to hold them accountable, I don't know what yours or any other program could possibly do.  I tell every parent that I talk to about the MAP program that unless their child is dedicated and the parents are supportive and hold them accountable it will be a waste of money to join.  However, if they meet these qualifications it will provide their child a great experience both on and off the ice (not to mention the visibility you provide to play hockey after high school).

Thanks so much for your help and time with us girls on the ice, i have noticed much improvement in myself from all your help at MAP and the small area games have helped me improve a lot as well.  I love the MAP Program and i enjoy coming as much as i can! You guys are awesome and we always have a good time on the ice! Evo has also gotten me a lot stronger, i will continue doing that this summer as well.   Also, Thanks for noticing my strengths and weaknesses, it's very helpful!

Hi Howie,

Just wanted to drop you a quick line to thank you for the opportunities you provided Tyler this fall to gain more exposure and play against some top competition.  Tyler has really enjoyed the FHITprogram over the last couple of years and we have seen noticeable improvements.  That is one of the primary reasons that I have signed my two daughters up for the program and several of their friends.
