I wanted to email you for a few reasons. Most important to thank you for being so nice to my son Jack. He thoroughly enjoys his time with you and can't wait to come back every Wednesday. The attention you give him is not expected but greatly appreciated! He can't stop talking about how fun it is and how you push him, but how much he likes it and how great he feels after.
One other comment, don't worry it's all good. He mentioned that a few times you had suggested the Monday ESP class. I know he could use it however he currently skates at a power skating practice on Tuesdays and Thursdays. Please know that we have already signed up for the ESP classes in the summer. I only wish that you were teaching them.
I am so glad my son is having so much fun!
Chad (Jack’s Dad)
"Dan, Liebs, Fish & Rachel,
Thank you ALL for a fantastic run this MAP season. We are so proud of Alec and his accomplishments. The invites to the Jr. A Tour and the HS Preview game was truly an honor. You have a wonderful group of individuals who we owe credit to his success. Thank you for your guidance. Your expertise is instrumental in his eagerness to continue.
A special thank you goes out to Dan, for mentoring Alec these past couple of years and talking with Glenn and I when we have questions. Alec looks up to you and we appreciate all you do for him.
THANK YOU RACHEL for all your communication and friendly disposition! Kudos to you for all you deal with on a daily basis. I thought I had it rough in a truck with four smelly boyz for the ride home. You have them passing by you all day long! You’re a Rock Star.
Have a great winter everyone!"
The Seeger family
Thanks for all of your time and hard work with Devin Zaloski this summer, he looks up to you for inspiration and direction, this summer he got both.
Tryouts have now concluded, and Devin will be playing on the Bantam AA team for Champlin this winter.
Thanks for pushing Devin beyond his comfort zone, on and off the ice. With your guidance he has realized two things this year:
1 - Dreams rarely come true, but with hard work, realistic goals can be accomplished.
2 - He can be the player that makes a difference on the ice.
Thanks again, there is no way Devin would be playing at the level he is without the hard work and support that he receives from you and all of the MAP staff."
"Bergie, Finally Luke’s dream has come true he is on the ice after 3 long years and alot of hard work and support from good people like you"
-Tom father of UMD Defensemen Luke
"Josh, Thanks for your interest in the MAP students. Just your email was worth the price of MAP, in that it was another voice focusing Paul on his academics. While he would love to continue playing hockey, his schooling will be the key to the rest of his life.
Sincerely, Patty Stehr"
"Living my dream. Can't thank you enough!"
-Kyle Osterberg (USNDT)
"Corbin thank you for taking the time to share such positive comments about Tanner. As a parent hearing other individuals, whom I have respect for, describe that their child is developing a work ethic and leadership skills makes me extremely proud.
Thanks to you and the other instructors/coaches at FHIT that provide the daily example of those attributes and the latitude for young athletes to find their way.
Tanner thoroughly enjoys his time at FHIT and is showing commitment through the summer to his long term goal of improving his hockey ability versus his peer group in District 10. These are skills that will serve him well in life.
Thank you again Corbin, I really appreciate it."
What a nice email to get! I thank you very much for your kind words. I will have to say I think (Nick) is a nice young man, but it means a lot coming from someone that he was working out with at the MAP. I will tell you that you must have made an impression on him. I have heard to you referred to as “the other dad” in our house.
It is nice to know he was working hard while he was down there. I know I noticed he seemed to “fill in” this summer, so I figured he must have been working hard.
I will say I have been very impressed with everyone we have met through the MAP. Nick has received great instruction/mentoring/working out while there. I have no doubt he would not have been able to continue playing beyond high school without the training he has received from everybody there. I hope he is able to continue working hard to continue moving up as high as he is able to, wherever this leads him. "
Thank you for taking the time to share those kind words about Christopher with us. As much as he is a great kid, it is also a testament to the program that you guys operate. Christopher is always eager to go to hockey and truly looks up to you and the rest of the coaches. Each week I require that he signs up for three days of MAP, he always asks to sign up for more. You guys provide an environment that the younger kids want to be a part of, and that is awesome!! I have tried to instill the value of hard work and how it will pay off with success. I often tell him that there are only 2 things that he can control and those are his attitude and his effort, if those are in check success in the long run will follow. It is very nice as a parent to hear that your child is working hard and has high expectations for himself, especially in these tough transitional years it is important for young men to have positive role models in their life and not fall in with the wrong crowd. Thank you and all the other coaches for all that you do not only for Christopher, but all these young men in the MAP program.
I just wanted to let you know my son had a fantastic time and really enjoyed Geno coaching and the whole experience was just great. I look forward to him working with yourself and others at MAP next year again. He said you really push him and I love to hear it. I know his game has come a long ways with the help of ALL the staff at MAP... THANK YOU
"Hi Map Staff, Thank you so much for the kind words and the training you and the rest of the staff are giving Ryan.
Faye and I have talked about what a great program it has been for him and a great decision to enroll him in it, we couldn't be more pleased.
My son Alex was in your winter Camp for D. He just finished the season in Grand Rapids, MI and since coming back, he was the most improved and in the last 5 weeks, he was the best player on the team. Whatever you guys taught, it was just what he needed. He had 2 goals, 1 assist, 9 hits, caused countless turnovers, and was a +6 in his last game and everyone was simply amazed by his acceleration this season. Before the camp he was a -11 and since returning he is a +22....he finished the year at +12 which was awesome on a team that scored VERY few goals. He is 2-3 years younger than all of his teammates and just flew by. He took everything he learned at your camp and applied it to his daily workouts. Thanks for having that camp and we look forward to moving back to MN and your organization coaching the boys.
Just wanted to send you a quick note thanking you for letting us come in last night. I really appreciate it. It was nice to get to meet you and some of the other guys there as well. I know that Sean has done a great job and has built a good relationship with you guys.
I look forward to everything in the future with you and the staff. Thanks again Steve, take care.

"We can't say enough about the FHIT program and all the instructors! You have given all three kids every opportunity to succeed at hockey. We know that you also require them to be respectful and responsible individuals which as parents is extremely important.
Thank you for all you do."
-Rich and Connie Barnes
I wanted to thank you for organizing the Sioux City games and events. Jake came home and was ecstatic. We actually had to tell him to slow down a couple of times."
-Kurt McCann, father of Jake McCann
I just wanted to shoot you an email and thank you for advising Ian to reach out to Chuck. I also wanted to thank you for the very strong reference that I understand you provided on Ian’s behalf. Thank you very much.
Ian and Chuck (and Chuck’s one assistance) have been corresponding for the last couple of weeks and I spent about 40 minutes on the phone with Chuck yesterday (he initiated the contact) talking about various options for Ian. This all became possible because of you. Thank you!
Don’t know at this point whether Ian will be invited to this year’s camp, but, Chuck did tell me that he will be proving Ian strong consideration. (He has asked that I get him a game tape of Ian, so, I am trying to figure out how best to do so, especially with only three games left in the season.) Regardless of the outcome for this year, this is all good stuff and moving in the right direction.
Please let me know if there is anything that comes to mind that Ian needs to be doing. Otherwise, we will keep you posted on any developments with regards to Chuck’s camp.
A quick note to let you know that Cory Lushanko qualified for the State Track and Field meet at Hamline University on June 10th & 11th in the 100m and 200m dash. He set a school record in the 100m dash with a time of 11.03. Cory has given a lot of credit to the MAP program with all the EVO he has done there and at home with his brothers and sister.
-Chris and Jami Lushanko
"After being with you guys for two years he has made so many great changes in hockey and himself and I really owe you guys a big THANK YOU. You guys are the reason besides himself working hard to where he is right now. You guys really do have a great thing going at map hockey, you need to pat yourself on the back for a great job done!!
I will see you guys around the rinks and at a game of Bubba's. Thanks,"
"Let the boys at MAP know that Ben made Breck Varsity. He needs to work his way up to more playing time, but as a Sophomore he is in a great position. FHIT/MAP certainly has and will continue to have a role in his improvement. Thanks."
The couple of people that have been negative about the program are the same parents/players that are blaming everybody else for being demoted to either 3rd or 4th line this year. If the player is not willing to work hard and the parents are not willing to hold them accountable, I don't know what yours or any other program could possibly do. I tell every parent that I talk to about the MAP program that unless their child is dedicated and the parents are supportive and hold them accountable it will be a waste of money to join. However, if they meet these qualifications it will provide their child a great experience both on and off the ice (not to mention the visibility you provide to play hockey after high school).

"Hi Jason & Geno,
I know Eli has had a chance to reach out to you and I wanted to also reach out to you. Simply put "Thanks!". Thanks for creating the program you have. Thanks for providing an opportunity to develop our boy into what he is today. Thanks for continuing to invest your valuable time in him. We are extremely grateful and realize that we are ... rather that Eli is very fortunate to be a part of your program and family. We truly feel that Eli's development not only as a hockey player but as a human being has been positively impacted by both of you and Erik.
We realize that the journey is not over and Eli knows he still has a long journey in front of him. We feel confident that he has the best support network he can have available to him. Thanks for being there and continuing to help him realize whatever his potential may be. I don't have Erik's email address and would be honored if you could forward this email to him.
You have our most sincere gratitude."
-Kevin & Denise
Hi Stacy and Z,
Thanks so much for your help and time with us girls on the ice, i have noticed much improvement in myself from all your help at MAP and the small area games have helped me improve a lot as well. I love the MAP Program and i enjoy coming as much as i can! You guys are awesome and we always have a good time on the ice! Evo has also gotten me a lot stronger, i will continue doing that this summer as well. Also, Thanks for noticing my strengths and weaknesses, it's very helpful! Thanks Again!
See Ya Soon,
Thank you very much for thinking about us and passing this information on. This will be a valuable asset to our recruiting and want to that you for everything you've done up to this point for our organization. The players that you have recommended are really playing well and they are great character kids. If there is anything I can do to help your program feel free to contact me. Thanks again and hope you had a great holiday season.
Aberdeen Wings NAHL
Dear FHIT & MAP
Thank you so much for all that you have done to help get the players preoared mentally & physically for the game of hockey. Thank you also for your support this year with the program. Best wishes in the next years to come.
-STA Cadet Hockey Families after their State Tournament Championship
We just started tryouts in Rogers and I am impressed with all of my players you worked with this year. Good and Walker both look like new players!
Marchand is in a league of his own. Blake Timm is ill and Ternus is going to be amazing. Thank you so much! I owe you all one.
Thanks again for letting my son have this great opportunity, C.J. is looking forward to it. You are a great mentor in his life something that he needs."
Once again thank you for all the work you and the staff at the north campus have done with Devin Zaloski this year. He has improved more this summer than from any other program he has attended. Devin likes the on ice sessions, and he really likes the EVO. It is refreshing to have a program that treats the players like young men, and not children...
After much discussion, he decided to give up his second year of Peewee hockey to play Bantam instead.... After playing just one year of Peewee, he needed to step up to play Bantam, and i credit the MAP Tier 1 program for pushing him to reach his potential.
Devin looked forward to training at FHIT this winter, and at MAP in 2012.
Just wanted to drop you a quick line to thank you for the opportunities you provided Tyler this fall to gain more exposure and play against some top competition. Tyler has really enjoyed the FHIT program over the last couple of years and we have seen noticeable improvements. That is one of the primary reasons that I have signed my two daughters up for the program and several of their friends.
Please let Tyler or I know if there is anything we should be doing over the next couple of months.
I just wanted to thank you and your staff for all the support you have provided Samantha. She still just loves going to FHIT and I can totally see a difference in her body as she gets more and more in shape. She has also noticed a big difference on ice as she feels stronger, faster, and less fatigued. You and your staff have been so supportive to her and I know this has helped very much. All the individual attention you have given her both on and off ice has made a big difference. THANK YOU. The individual attention and sincerity is such a positive thing for her to experience.
Thanks for inviting Matt out to the game against the Blades the other night. He'll be there today for the Combine. Just an FYI, I think you know he's on the Elite Prep Team NW. I think part of him making the team was what you guys do there at Fhit. So thanks for all you do to help him reach his goals.
I remember when we signed up and Bergie asked him if he wanted to be a Dr.? Matt's response was "what a Doctor"......? Bergie said you have to put in a lot of work to become a Dr. of Hockey. Be here 4 days a week, work hard, measure your results, etc. He enjoys working out there and getting better. He was especially happy with his off ice measurements 6 months later. He's the leading scorer for the Elite Prep League. I know he feels what he does there has made him stronger and faster.
Thanks for thinking of Bryce to play for the Chicago Team (HBTC All-Stars) this past weekend. It was for the most part a good hockey and experience. I can really see the benefits of MAP, as he is much stronger on his skates. His confidence is growing too. Thanks, again!" Cliff Gustafson - father of Bryce Gustafson (Eastview Varsity)
Best value we have ever had for a complete spring, summer, and fall of training."
Just a short note to say thanks to Troy Riddle for his words of encouragement on the phone last night to my son Devin Zaloski.
It really meant a lot to him to have someone of Troy's stature to take the time to help out a younger player.
It is very much appreciated, and will not be forgotten."
Let me start by saying “Thank you” to you and the staff at Fhit for all of the hard work, development and support you’ve invested in Evan this Spring. It is gratifying to see the accomplishments made toward Evan’s goal of playing competitive hockey beyond high school and into college. We are grateful to you and your staff.
It was great meeting you last week. Thank you so much for taking such good care of my son. I know that he is having a great time -- and your facility is incredible. We are telling everyone here about you.
This is such a great opportunity for Benjamin-- I cannot thank you enough. You are a great person."
