Professional Experience - Full Time Staff
Over fifteen years has been spent on the development, fine-tuning and planning of the Minnesota Advancement Program (MAP) to help hockey mold players. We built The MAP with a team of hockey players, coaches, scouts and trainers who have experienced and been down the many paths players follow to obtain their individual hockey goals. The MAP staff includes experience of:
- Over 50 years of playing experience in 15 different professional leagues
- Over 40 years of college coaching & playing experience
- Over 20 years of Junior A (USHL, NAHL and other ) scouting and playing experience
- Mr. Hockey Winner
- NHL 1st Round Draft Pick
Our experience also includes assisting families and helping many players advance over the years:
- Over 15 NHL Draft Picks
- Over 20 USA National Team Players
- Over 50 D1 College Commitments
- Over 100 Junior A Players throughout different leagues
The key to The MAP is being involved with good people who have their heart in the right place. It includes over 20 fulltime coaches, teachers, scouts, goalie coaches, and certified trainers. It also includes 2 great campuses (facilities), and a world class off-ice training program with injury prevention, accelerated recovery and improved performance. The MAP also offers mental edge training, on and off-ice testing, player advancement, family guidance and on and off-ice development training on a continuous basis, all with a flexible schedule, for both boys and girls.
